Grand

Today is the 45th day!! We're just waiting for the results, (waiting in vain) that is. :p So, since it's the last day, we finally have our freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom!!!!!!!!! AND I'LL HAVE THE TASTE OF SUMMER NA!!! Hazzah!!! Not to mention, me and my cousins are getting paid for helping out and suffering the heat of the sun. My cousins received their's so I'm still a couch potato. I'm not in a rush to receive my payment though, what I'm looking forward to is the vacation, the summer trip, the having-the-best-28-days-of-my-life-or-just-before-i-go-to-college. If your wondering why this post is entitled "Grand" it's because, the 43rd day is the Grand Rally of the Candidates of LP, and here's what happened.

This was a fail caravan because the route got jagged when we reached the public market, other cars joined the other candidates' caravan. It was a laugh! One of our cars got broke and caused a massive traffic. Sorry folks!

Look at all the supporters!!!

There they are! The program proper started at around Eight o'clock in the evening and ended at 12am. At least I think it was 12. And guess what, they were live on the radio! It was so cool, I get to handle the sounds and it was live!!! Awesome!!! I don't now why but my internet would not allow me to post the most awesome performance ever! (My dad singing). That was supposed to be the finishing touch to this post. But since we can't all have everything right?

Might

Forty three days have passed and we are all feeling nauseous. Elections are coming up and we have to say good bye to our newly found friends and we have to wait for the official results on who will be the new faces we will encounter when we visit the city hall of the City of Koronodal. I just hope the citizens and netizens of our country will really vote wisely this time.

Enough of that riff-raff. Let me tell you something about what happened the past month and why haven't I updated my oh so poor blog. It's because of the campaign period. 45 days of hell if you ask me. -_____- We have to wake up at 3 in the morning to go to the kapehan (it's where people (yes, there are people awake by this time. Forced anyway) gather and listen to what the candidates under the liberal party has to say). It's fun though, we got to go to the mountains and stuff. If it's REALLY hot here and so modernized, there in the fields it's so cold and green up there. Really neat! This usually takes about 2-3 hours. And they have 3 venues. When we go home it's about 7 or 8 in the morning. After breakfast we go to different Barrios and Barangays for our house to house thang. Mainly rekurida (the annoying jingle of the candidates running) and giving leaflets. I was just hoping when I visit someones house they were nice and get the piece of paper I'm giving them, others get annoyed when they get a visit from us. I wonder why. LOL. This stops at around 11 o'clock and we have our lunch. A little bit of rest between 11:30am and 2:30pm. At 3 o'clock we proceed to the palamigan (sorta like kapehan but with juice and bread), this usually has two venues and ends around 5:30 or 6pm. At 8 o'clock is the rally of our team at one barangay, they made their rally like a variety show but for me it's more like a commical skit. HAHAHA! Am I too judgemental? This usually last for four or five hours. We wake up the next morning and do the same routine over and over and over again. Just until it's May 13, of course.

Yes, our sleep is high jacked. Maybe this is the reason why I have low hemoglobin and my dad won't let me come with him having fun with the other supporters. 😑 Yes, us kids had to battle the weather for 1 month and 15 days. But you know what, it was all worth it. By the way, I'm praying my arse off that my dad would win!!! *fingers crossed* 🙏

Well, this is rather wordy. I need to stop ranting now. On my next post I promise there will be pictures. Bye! :)
